About
Keeping the preaching, and sending it out
A ministry that builds and runs free tools for independent Baptist churches.
Why we exist
Every week, pastors stand in the pulpit and preach the Word of God. Much of that preaching is recorded, and much of it is then lost: stuck on a hard drive, buried in a website that no one can update, or locked in a service the church can no longer afford.
Kept & Sent Ministries exists to change that. We build and run the tools a church needs to keep its preaching and teaching in good order, find it again, and send it out by podcast, website and radio, at no cost to the church.
Who we serve
We serve independent Baptist churches and the Bible institutes connected to them. Our scripture tools are built for the King James Bible, and our programs are shaped by what pastors have told us they need.
How we are governed
Kept & Sent Ministries, Inc. is being organized as an Indiana nonprofit corporation. It will be overseen by a board of directors, a majority of whom are independent Baptist pastors who are not paid by the ministry. The board adopts a conflict of interest policy and sets any compensation, with any interested director stepping out of that decision.
The ministry will apply to the IRS for recognition as a 501(c)(3) public charity. See ourGive page for what that means for gifts in the meantime.
